Meet Our Guide
Juhee Kumar (she/her)
Juhee is a queer first generation south asian-american, holding the multitudes of creator, yoga guide, podcast host, sensuality coach, and lover of nature.
She felt called to host this retreat after reflecting on on her relationship with overworking, burnout, and what to truly means to slow down and receive, particularly when it came to her getting her citizenship in India.
After pursuing all the possible routes, she realized there was nothing left to do but trust in the universe and rest. When she finally released control of the outcome, she made space to ease into receiving. It was then something shifted internally which allowed for space to shift externally.
If we take a moment to slow down, we are communicating to the universe a different frequency. and the universe responds, allowing us to receive.
We are worthy of rest before the outcome.
We are worthy of rest whenever we need it
We have a duty to our ancestors to allow the rest we have access to, when they didn't.
We have a duty to ourselves to give us permission to rest, even when it feels like we can't.
When we create space for that rest, beautiful things come.

Juhee's offerings are exactly what I needed as I navigated a big life transition. The space Juhee facilitated was warm, inviting, and restorative. Wow! Talk about a sacred space. I felt held and taken care of in ways BIPOC don’t always have access to in incorporating props into the practice to make it accessible for all bodies and abilities. They are intentional about centering the group’s needs. I recommend this experience for anyone craving community, body movement, and sanctuary.
